How to transfer a domain to your Enom Account from another Registrar

Learn how to transfer a domain from another registrar into your Enom account using an Authorization Code.

To transfer a domain to your Enom account from another registrar, you will require the Authorization Code for the domain from the previous registrar. Once you have the code, you can log in to your account and transfer the domain.

If the domain is already registered in Enom, you should use Push a Domain instead.

After your funds have cleared in Escrow.com's escrow account, we will email you with confirmation and inform the seller to send you the authorization code. The seller will send you the Authorization Code for the domain you are purchasing from their registered Escrow.com account. The seller can get their Authorization Code for the domain by logging into the dashboard of their registrar and following the instructions on the site. How to initiate an Authorization Code Transfer

Once you have the Authorization Code, you can initiate the domain transfer from the Enom dashboard.

  1. Log in to your Enom account
  2. From the Domains menu, select Transfer Domains then Transfer a Domain
  3. Enter the domain name to be transferred in the Domain Name section and the authorization code you received from the selling party in the Authorization Code section. Then click Continue
  4. On the following screen, enter the Authorization Code again, then click Continue.
  5. Review your order and ensure the information is correct. Then click Submit Order
  6. You will be taken to a confirmation page with order confirmation number.

Your domain name can take up to 7 days to be processed. Some factors can delay the transfer. These include if the domain was registered recently, or transferred recently. Contact Enom support if your domain name transfer takes more than 7 days.
